The master class of the European School of Urology in association with Weill Medical College of Cornell University is organised in Schloss Arenberg in Salzburg, (AT) and starts on Sunday 1 February. Young and highly qualified urologists are especially invited to apply for this master class. Participants are fully sponsored in terms of accommodation and travel and there was no registration fee. Applicants have to participate in an open competition based on their clinical and language skills, career level and list of publications. Non-European urologists are welcome to apply as well. The selection was done by the board of the European School of Urology.

Several urological diseases will be discussed during the master class, with a focus on BPH, prostate cancer and male and female infertility. Experts in the different fields highlight the latest developments. Hands-on training sessions in transurethral operation techniques and microsurgery give participants the opportunity to become more skilled. The ´Cases by participants´ sections give this master class a very interactive character.

This teaching programme has been developed thanks to close collaboration between the European Association of Urology (EAU), the European School of Urology (ESU) and the European Board of Urology (EBU), as well as with Weill Medical College.

The master class is accredited by the European Urology-Accredited Continuing Medical Education, an initiative resulting from a close collaboration between the EBU Accreditation Committee and the European Association of Urology.
